Working On Our Evaluation

As a group we had 2 choices whether we wanted to do individual work or if we wanted to do the evaluation together using final cut pro. We were told that we had 2 weeks to plan and finish our evaluation as we then came to a conclusion that we wanted to do the evaluation sepratley. We took many things into consideration as we were deciding which way to do a conclusion.
If we did it together using Final cut pro we could only use it in college hours because we do not have it anywhere else and our timetables were very different which wouldnt allow us to go in the editing sweet together for most of the time. However deciding the individual work we would be able to work on our evaluations at home on any computer which would give us more time to work on our evaluations to make it a good standard.

this is our survey that we have created, in this survey we have asked many different types of questions whether our whole 3 products work well as a package or not. we have asked open questions so that we can get different ranges of answers as the respondants would be able to write anything they think about our whole package whether if it works or not.

This is the inside CD insert that we have made as group, we chose to use a close up as it shows the expression of him and represents how he is feeling. we have placed the lyrics on the right side so that when he is looking in that direction the audience could tell that he is thinking about what has happend.

This is the back cover of our CD package as we have chosen a dark effect to connote the feelings within the music. The second one is our final version.

Started Making back cover

We have started editing the main image which is the tree's,

we have added the logo and we are just on the part where we will be trimming the logo so that it matches the background.

Taking pictures for CD cover

We took pictures of the park where our Music video originaly took place, we are thinking to use one of these images for our front cover.

            

Shoot with Artists

We have done the shoot today with our Main artist as it went really well, we took pictures of him from full shot to extreme close ups. we have kept the lighting abit down because we are going to make the images black and white which will match our music video.

Deciding Font Design

We went to a website where we were deciding what font we wanted to be on our CD cover, we went through many of them and then we decided that we wanted a simple font with not too much and not too less.

 

                              This is the font that we chose for our Music CD cover.

Group Meeting

we have changed our desision as a group from a Bird and Cave to the Red hat that was in our music video. we have changed our idea because we have realised that it will be hard to get an original photography of the two of them, however we beleive that the red hat symbolises many things such as our genre rock, also red symbolises love and effection. however the real band 'The Rasmus' always have objects to represent their albums as for ours we have decided that we are going to have a black background with the red hat tillted, which in my opinion i beleive that it would look very unconventional and unique.

Deciding Shoot Date

We are now at a point where we are deciding on the date for our shoot, to take pictures of the main person in our music video. At the moment we have decided that we will shoot tomorow but it all depends on our main character whether he is free or not.

We have decided to have the cave at the back at the setting therefore my group has thought to think about what type of cave we want and where we want to place it.. also we have though that we want to draw the cave on a peice of paper and then add special effects to it by applying effects on it; effects that match the logo of 'The rasmus' therefore we are looking for images to get ideas
